GAME Confident of Christmas Wii Stock

A spokesperson for UK retailer GAME has stated that the company does not expect to encounter a shortage of Wii hardware this Christmas.

Last year's holiday period was a tough time to find Wiis for sale, but a spokesperson told IncGamers the company does not "anticipate any supply issues" this year. Some UK consumers are not so confident and recently a website was set up to help people locate Wii stock this holiday season.

The statement follows reports that GAME staff were instructed by management to buy up discounted Wii and Xbox 360 stock during a recent Sainsbury's promotion. "We're always looking for the best prices in order to give our customers the very best bundle deals we can," said the spokesperson.
