ASDA Pass PES ’09 For £27 GBP

Supermarkets have been going banana’s with price drops of games and consoles over the last few weeks.

ASDA has now joined the race to attract gaming customers by offering Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 for £27 GBP on the next gen consoles.

The PS3 version will also come bundled with the game.

Over the last weeks months we’ve seen both Sainsbury’s and Morrisons slash prices of games and consoles, with FIFA ’09 being the title of choice.

Blockbuster will also been following suit and has a deal similar to its FIFA deal for Pro Evo.  You’ll also get a free football (or soccer ball if you’re that way inclined) with every order.

The battle for this years’ football title has begun…well, it will do tomorrow when PES will be on sale.

We're waiting for confirmation from ASDA whether console prices will be dropped too.  We'll keep you updated when we get more news.

UPDATE:  ASDA have confirmed that PES will retail at £27 GBP as well as stating that there will be no special price for consoles or bundles.  Just the game.

A statement then: "We are happy to offer our customers pro evo at £27GBP and FIFA 09 at £39.71GBP on xbox 360 and PS3 and £29.71GBP on Wii. At ASDA we are constantly delivering great value for our customers, lowering the prices of video games and making them more affordable for families across the UK "
