Rumours of a non-exclusive game were rife during the development of MGS4, and no official line stated otherwise.
Konami even insisted the game would feature an in-game PS3 controller, but it wasn’t enough to quash rumours.
Morningstar, a Japanese stock investor bulletin has said that we could very well see the game on multiple platforms as it appeals to the international market. Speaking to Morningstar (reported by Kotaku), Konami PR man, Yoshitaka Arai sad that “demand for an 360 version is quite high, and it is something we are currently looking into.”
Having been exclusive now for a number of months, it would be no surprise if the latest instalment of MGS does make it to other platforms, as seems to be the case with most games.
UPDATE: We've just spoken to Konami and they've told us that they've released the game on PS3 and that "there are no plans to release the game on any other platform."
We pushed, but they insisted the game will stay on the PS3.
