Dead Space Goes Gold

EA has announced that its upcoming survival horror title, Dead Space, has gone gold.

The game ships in North America on 14 October for Xbox 360 and PS3, with the PC version following on 20 October. European gamers will have to wait until 24 October.

Gamers who buy the console versions of the game within the first two weeks of its release can download and Xbox Elite themed suit (from Xbox Live) and an Obsidian suit (from PSN).

Dead Space is set in Deep Sapce and follows the efforts of mining engineer, Isaace Clarke, who is tasked with repairing the communications system on a mining ship. Obviously, things don't go exactly as planned and Isaac ends up trapped in the ship with an angry group of genetic abominations.
