Nintendo has officially announced a new version of its handheld console, the DS.
The Nintendo DSi was announced during the company's Fall Press Conference yesterday and will feature bigger screens, two cameras, a SD slot and improved speakers.
The unit will be 12% thinner than the DS Lite but will not include the Gameboy Advance slot. According to MCV, Nintendo also announced the DSi will feature a built-in web browser and the ability to download DSi games.
The DSi is due for a November release in Japan with the European launch following in the Spring.
