MTV has announced the upcoming Wii version of Rock Band 2 will have the same online funtionality as its PS3 and Xbox 360 counterparts.
Speaking to USA Today, MTV Games confirmed the Wii version will support both downloadable tracks and online multiplayer.The PS2 version will not have online functionality.
Rock Band 2 was released for Xbox 360 in the US earlier this month. The European launch is expected to take place in November.
