Half A Million Playing Warhammer Online

Mythic has revealed that half a million players are now playing Warhammer Online.

With the game having been out for over a week, Mythic's Warhammer Online appears to be doing quite well at this early stage. Mythic Entertainment's Mark Jacob added :

“In just one week we have a half a million people playing WAR online, and the ranks of Order and Destruction are growing at a record-breaking pace for a new MMORPG. We spent years working to provide players with the most stable, epic, and polished online world we could, but it is the players that have truly brought the Age of Reckoning to life.”

The big question is, can the game keep the players hooked after the free month is up? We'll know in about three to four week's time. So far things are looking good, and according to EA, the game is the fastest selling MMORPG of all time which is great news for Mythic.
