StarCraft Invades Spore

In the initial hype of Spore Creature Creator, lots of different types of creatures were created, including the infamous 'penis monsters' as well as creatures from one of StarCraft's races; the Zerg.

Of course, as one progresses in playing Spore, it's possible to design the vehicles of your races any way you want, and the StarCraft-fanatical Koreans have naturally created StarCraft units, in this case Terran mechanical units and posted them online.

While 'fan art' like this is nothing new, the level of quality on these models is just outstanding, considering they are made in another game's unit editor. The 3D models of the Battlecruiser, Siege Tank and other famous Terran units are very detailed, and actually on par with the cinematics from the veteran game.

Our StarCraft II network site has found these images, and just looking at them you could be fooled for a fraction of a second that this is some odd new build of StarCraft II. The screenshots are of course only figuring a Spore civilisation city with its military, but the sight is quite impressive none the less. You can find all the images at StarCraftWire.net.
