More PES Licensing News

Konami has today announced new licensed content for the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2009.

In a press release, the publisher confirmed the Dutch Eredivisie and French Ligue 1 have been completely licensed featuring "full kits, player rosters and affiliated elements." FC Porto, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will also be added to the PES 2009 club roster.

The news follows an earlier announcement that PES 2009 will also feature a fully-licensed Champions League competition as well as authentic Liverpool and Manchester United squads.

PES 2009 will be released for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 17 October, with PSP, PS2 and Wii versions to follow.
