Spore Patch and Cheats

The first patch for Spore has been released and comes fixing bugs and tweaks the game, as well as including some in-built cheats.

Instead of having to go through the whole first phase of evolution, something our very own Paul Younger found so frustrating, players will be able to use the “evoadvantage” which lets you choose an already established creature to play with.

Further cheats are more visually aesthetic.  They’ll mainly be filters and visually representative creature add-ons.

You’ll need EA’s famous Download Manager to upgrade, and any more information can be found on the EA website.

Fellow Mac users, we’re going to have to wait that little bit longer.
