Activision Gives Away Free Guitars

Activision has announced the "biggest pre-order incentive the industry has ever seen" for Guitar Hero: World Tour.

The publisher revealed that gamers who pre-order the World Tour Super Bundle - which contains the drum kit, mic, guitar and a copy of the game - will receive a free Guitar Hero bass guitar worth £50.

"This programme signals our enormous commitment to Guitar Hero World Tour,” Activision's David Tyler told MCV. "Consumers who pre-order the Guitar Hero World Tour ‘super bundle’ from any retailer – either online, or in-store – will bag a bonus bass guitar. This is a significant investment to reward our loyal fans, ensuring the full band experience is available from the off."

Guitar Hero: World Tour will be released for PS2, ps3, Wii and Xbox 360. It is thought to be scheduled for an "early November" release.
