Mirror's Edge Dated

EA and Dice have announced Mirror's Edge will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in November.

The parkour-inspired first-person platformer will ship to UK stores on 7 November, with the PC version scheduled for "later in the winter".

EA also confirmed, at some point prior to the full game's release,  a demo will be available to download from PSN and Xbox Live. The demo will centre on the game's prologue, offering a tutorial as well as a taster of the single player story mode. Those who pre-order the game at selected retailers will also be given a code which unlocks the Time Trial mode, allowing them to upload their best time to an online leaderboard and race against ghost times.

"Mirror’s Edge is bringing something new to the action-adventure genre this holiday by putting the player in the shoes of the hero, seeing what she sees, feeling what she feels," said Dice's Owen O'Brien. "We wanted to create an entirely new experience, with a different type of heroine and a world that not only looks fresh and new but has unique gameplay."
