Crysis Custom Built Machine

There is an official Crysis Warhead PC, which you can buy bundled with Windows XP and will play the resource hungry at 30 frames per second for only $700USD.

Not only is it a reasonable price, but the machine itself has been vetted by the guys at Crytek, and the specs are pretty impressive for the price.  More details below.

The only thing that does not come with the pre-built case are fans…so you’re likely to burn up the whole machine.  But fear not…there are some accessory kits for purchase.  Oh, and you’ll need to get your own monitor.

The machine is built by Ultra and Garrett Bain, the product development manager, was keen to state that the machine is ready to rock your Crysis world.

“We’ve benchmarked and burned in everything… and when you power it on, you’ll boot into Windows and be ready to install the game,” he said speaking to Gamecyte.

You’ll also find that the machine comes with a one year warranty and that all the components have been “validated” and “benchmarked” for this game specifically.

We reckon it’s a good price for a souped up machine that will give you that little extra from other premade machines.  Obviously we’re not counting the Alienware stuff, but you get the jist.  Just make sure you get some fans…the cooling type.
