PS3 Alone In The Dark Details

Other than six exclusive new PS3 episodes, Eden Studios will be working to fix some of the most frustrating aspects of the game for its PS3 release.

Starting with protagonist Edward Carnby, there will be a full 360-degree camera, which will allow you to admire your Carnby from any angle.  You’ll also find that he’ll react and turn a lot quicker in third-person view, as well as being able to handle more realistic cars.

Sticking with the car theme, Eden have also made the car chase and earthquake sequence more acceptable by adding checkpoints, changing the difficulty and adding better voice instructions so you don’t get lost.

Also, combining items will be doable from the d-pad, meaning that selecting the tools from your trench coat will easier.  And for those of you that hated Spectral Vision, there will be a tutorial which will explain how to use it.

The game is due out in November, and developers will be hoping that these tweaks will maybe up the review for a game that didn’t quite reach their high expectation.
