Sting For Guitar Hero: World Tour

Sting and Tool will be featured artists on Guitar Hero: World Tour.

The press release says that this instalment will see the “largest collection of artists ever to appear” in the game and that adding Sting’s voice for aspiring Sting-wannabe’s will allow them to “take the stage as Sting” performing Demolition Man.

Not only is Sting in the firing line, but also Tool, some “hugely popular alternative metal band” apparently known for their “epic, intense musical arrangements and killer visual arts.”  I’ve not heard of them but they apparently do have a critically acclaimed album, Lateralus… From their album Parabola and Schism will be playable, as well as Vicarious from their album of 2006, 10,000 Days,

"The game will also feature an all-new venue designed in collaboration with the band and highlighting the art style that has become a staple in their music videos, live shows and album artwork." Activision continue.

We’ll not have long to wait as the game is due out in autumn, and as far as I can tell, autumn has certainly begun.
