Sony has announced the official bluetooth headset will hit Japanese stores on 30 October.
According to a press release posted on Kotaku, the headset will cost 5000 yen and will come include a USB cable and a charging cradle.
When connected to a PS3, an on-screen indicator will show battery and volume levels as well as the headset's connection status.
The official bluetooth headset will also be included in a retail version of Sony's upcoming shooter SOCOM Confrontation which is also due for release on 30 October.
