Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has confirmed the SOCOM Confrontation public beta will be delayed.
SCEA's Seth Luisi said the beta will be delayed "just a few days" and will now be launched this Friday. "We completely understand it’s hard to wait when you haven’t had a chance to play it yet," said Luisi on the US Playstation Blog, "but, rest assured, the wait will be worth it."
The beta will only be available from Friday for gamers who have pre-ordered the game at Gamestop in the US or EB Games in Canada. It will run from 5 Setember to 5 October, with the full game being released later in the month.
No news yet on whether European gamers will get the chance to partake.
