Videogames vs Exercise
28 Aug 2008 by Andy AldersonThe Sun's resident health expert, Dr Keith Hopcroft, claims men would rather play videogames than exercise.
In an article about exercise trends, Dr Keith says modern men are too busy "clicking on consoles" with their eyes "glued to the screen" to think about getting regular exercise.
"I recently caught my teenage kids playing virtual tennis", he says. "There’s a tennis court down the road. But instead of getting fresh air, they were wearing out our carpet, their thumb joints and my patience."
Dr Keith recommends walking and running as cheap, effective ways to exercise.
