MadWorld, the gory filled, contestant slaying, black and white action where you go on a killing spree on a game-show with a chainsaw has been deemed a family killer.
Now, after that long intro line, you might think that yes, a family fun, Wii game should be all fun and frolics, but MadWorld is actually quite a funny take on what we all feel when it comes to contestants on TV.
John Beyer, director of Mediawatch-UK, said that the SEGA game will “spoil the family fun image” and that he hopes the British Board of Classification does not grant the game a classification.
"It seems a shame that the game's manufacturer have decided to exclusively release this game on the Wii," said Beyer.
Nintendo, however, have said that the game “will be suitably age-rated through the appropriate legal channels and thus only available to an audience above the age rating it is given."
That seems reasonable, don’t you think? One word of warning…don’t tell the Australians about this. They’ll have it banned.
