Blizzard's web servers crumble following demand for BlizzCon tickets.
This afternoon Blizzard put the tickets on sale for BlizzCon 2008 and have run into all sorts of technical difficulties which has been down tot he huge demand for tickets too thisyear's event.
Previous BlizzCon events have focused on StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft, but following the announcement of Diablo 3 in Paris at the WWI in June, demand for show tickets appears to be immense.
Earlier Blizzard issued a statement highlighting the technical issues they are currently experiencing.
We are well aware of an issue preventing players from purchasing Blizzcon tickets. Our Web Administrators are working as quickly as possible to remedy the issue, but I'm afraid there is no ETA at this time.
**Please be aware that Billing and Account Services and the In-Game Support Department will be unable to provide assistance with ticket purchasing until this issue has been resolved.**
We sincerely appreciate your patience.
Updates will be provided as soon as possible
If you're trying to get hold of tickets just keep trying, hopefuly by the time the page loads there will still be tickets left for those wanting to attend.
