From today until 25th August, World of Warcraft players who participate in any of the Battlegrounds will receive a special Competitor's Tabard, which bears an uncanny resemblance to the Olympic Games symbol.
Winning or losing the Battleground does not matter, it's the taking part that counts! All players who stay until the end of the match will receive Competitor's Tabard through the in-game mail system. If players win the match, they may also receive a Gold Medallion in the mail, which summons and dismisses a Spirit of Competition - a small Dragon pet to commemorate the country hosting the Olympics, China.
