New Damnation Footage

Codemasters has released the first trailer for its upcoming acrobatic combat game, Damnation.

The trailer, a mix of gameplay footage and in-game cut-scenes, showcases the large scale landscapes and multiple paths on offer in Damnation.

The player takes on the role of Peacemaker, Rourke, who is battling to take down the sinister military-industrial complex which has ravaged a dystopian America in its quest for resources.

The game features large open environments stretching up thousands of vertical feet, which serve as a backdrop for Rourke's acrobatics and vehicle stunts. Codemasters has described Damnation as the "anithesis of the generic corridor shooter".
