Ghostbusters developer Terminal Reality has confirmed the game will be published.
"Ghostbusters will be published," Terminal Reality's Mark Randel told Videogaming247. "That's all I can say at the moment."
The game was initially thought to be a casualty of the Activision-Vivendi merger, but Sony Pictures Entertainment confirmed the title would make it to consoles next year.
Ghostbusters is to be released for DS, PC, PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360.
