The PS3 version of Bioshock will feature exclusive downloadable content in the form of "Challenge Rooms".
According to 1up, the new content will exist outside of the main storyline and will be accessible from the main menu. Each challenge room will be a self-contained area of Rapture in which the player must use plasmids, weapons and items to solve multi-tiered puzzles. If the puzzle is solved within a certain time frame, the player will be rewarded with a trophy (Sony's equivalent of an achievement).
