Ubisoft Announces Naruto: The Broken Bond

Ubisoft announced the development of a new Naruto title at E3 today.

Naruto: The Broken Bond follows the story of the now-respected Ninja, Naruto, whose status and abilities trigger jealousy in his friend and Ninja colleague, Sasuke. Evil Orochimaru persuades Sasuke to join his clan and Naruto embarks on a quest to save his friend.

Like its previous Xbox 360 incarnation, Rise of a Ninja, The Broken Bond will feature an open-world setting (which is faithful to its anime counterpart) as well as an exclusive online multiplayer mode.

Naruto is Japan's most popular ninja manga and has been succesfully exported to the North American market, selling over three million copies to date in the US.

Naruto: The Broken Bond is due for release on Xbox 360 this Christmas.
