Epic has confirmed a November 7 2008 release date for Gears of War 2. Speaking at Microsoft's E3 press conference yesterday, Epic's Cliff Bleszinski also announced a new game mode would feature in the upcoming sequel.
Horde mode will allow up to five players to join together over Xbox Live to battle "wave after wave" of Locust enemies.
