According to the official website, Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising will now be released in 2009. The site also states a new video will be available to watch from tomorrow.
The sequel to the classic tactical shooter is being developed in-house by Codemasters follwowing a dispute with series developer Bohemia Interactive.
Dragon Rising is expected to feature a three-way conflict between the US, Russia and China and hopefully won't lose the open-ended genius of the original. There are a selection of screenshots to view at the website and it's looking very tasty indeed.
