Some fans of the new GTA game were unhappy about a ‘cheat’ in the game which allowed them to log onto a banned in game website in order to gain a maximum five stars on their wanted status. The website, www.littlelacysurprisepageant.com, implies paedophilia and the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) has called on Rockstar to remove it from within the game.
Although typing the address into your browser takes you straight to the games promotional website, there is no indication that there is any paedophilic content.
Zoe Hilton, NSPCC policy co-ordinator told The Telegraph that it was inappropriated and trivialised the very serious issue of paedophilia.
"I just think it is in very poor taste and they should withdraw it."
Rockstar have not commented.
The battle goes on.
