System 3 has announced that the racer, ‘Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli’ will be released in Europe next month.
The game promises to deliver 50 “painstakingly modelled’ Ferrari’s down to the smallest detail as well as realistic handling and intelligent AI.
The PS3 version will allow 16 players to compete online while DS owners will be able to play wirelessly with each other (steady).
One of the games main features is the realism that it promises to deliver. It’s not just about the car, but about the track, the sounds of the engine and the feel of the car beneath you. System 3 brought in Bruno Senna, to direct the game and he’s been very influential.
Said System 3 CEO, Mark Cale, “We’ve been confident from the very beginning that not only will we deliver a licence worthy of the Ferrari name, but a racing simulation like no other.”
But releasing a Ferrari only brand game, although has it’s merits, I don’t think will have anything on games such as ‘GT’. I’m in no position to comment though as I haven’t seen the game nor have I played it. We’ll get it reviewed as soon as we can.
