'WoW' Gets Achievements?

The latest 'World of Warcraft' expansion news reveals that Blizzard are adding an achivement system to the game. Players will allegedly be rewarded for completing various tasks, such as exploring the whole map, getting 2 classes to level 80, getting a character of each faction to level 80, leveling one of every class to 80 and so forth.

There's no mention of what the rewards might be for this, or if players will be rewarded for these achievements if they've already completed them before the expansion goes live, but it's an interesting idea nevertheless.

The Aloha test is still under NDA so consider this leaked information from a fan DeathKnight page and may well never make it into the final game.
