‘Assassin’s Creed’ Enhanced For PC

PC gamers don’t have to wait much longer to get their clammy mitts on Crusades-em up, ‘Assassin’s Creed’. Ubisoft has confirmed that the hit title will be heading to PC in early April, complete with a few new additions.

In a bid to combat the complaints of the game being repetitive, Ubisoft has added four new investigation missions. They are archer assassination, rooftop race challenge, merchant stand destruction challenge and escort challenge.

Players must assassinate archers in a certain zone without being seen. In rooftop challenge, the player will meet an informer and have a time limit to meet a second informer. The merchant stand destruction requires players to sabotage the activities of merchants who are aiding assassination targets. And in escort challenge, Altair must get a fellow assassin safely from one place to another.

The PC version also features enhanced AI, which means guards will react more realistically, rather than jumping on you at the slightest gasp from a passer-by. For instance, stealth assassinations will be more successful in a crowded situation.

It’s all sounding good over at Ubisoft and hopefully this means even better things for Altair’s second outing on console, if and when that is announced.
