‘Devil May Cry 4’ Sells Two Million

The decision to bring the ‘Devil May Cry 4’ out across multiple platforms has paid off, selling two million copies since its release.

‘DMC4’ had previously been a PlayStation exclusive series, but now it’s being refered to as the “banner franchise” for Capcom.

The whole franchise has sold over nine million units worldwide, and with a PC version of ‘DMC4’ out later this year, Capcom can be sure to see a little more of an influx in game sales.

In a release Capcom said that it was their “continued goal” to bring all their games to multiple platforms so that gamers would enjoy “the best entertainment experiences in the next-gen gaming arena.”

Significant as we may start to see more multi-platform releases and fewer games exclusive to specific platforms.
