‘World In Conflict’ For 360 and PS3

A new action-strategy game that received “Best Strategy Game” of 2007 at the E3 event will be hitting North American shelves in the autumn.

‘World In Conflict’ is being redesigned for consoles, with a new single player mode and new content that will also support a multiplayer mode.  Don’t worry if you are a PC based player though, you’ll also be able to get all the new content as an add-on to your original game (we’ll let you know where and when when we know!)

The game seems to find itself in a new category, the “action-strategy” genre, which attracts action junkies, strategists and FPS addicts to one game.

Based on the assumption that the Cold War never ended, ‘World In Conflict’ pits your superpower against others, with destructible 3D battlefields and all the weapons of the era.

The game has had a good run in 2007, grabbing everything from “Editors’ Choice” awards to “Best Strategy Game of 2007”, so it’s grounding is established.
“World in Conflict on consoles will be an amazing extension of an already great gaming franchise.” Commented Martin Tremblay, President of Sierra Entertainment.

So fancy watching the Cold War go hot?  Well, with cinematic effects that promise to blow you away, as well as a storyline to go with it, this’ll be the game for you.
