Unsurprisingly, Rockstar has cleared up the whole ‘Grand Theft Auto IV’ multiplayer confusion by stating that online play will be available on both PS3 and Xbox 360.
As we suspected, earlier reports of Microsoft accidental announcement that the 360 will be the only console supporting online multiplayer on ‘GTA IV’, were just a result of wilful misinterpretation.
Rockstar told MCV, “As we’ve said previously, both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game will have an online multiplayer component.”
Well that clears that up then. However, 360 owners will still benefit from exclusive downloads, so it’s not all rain on your parade.
