‘Frontlines: Fuel of War’ Demo Launch

The first demo offering 32 player online support, ‘Frontlines’ seems ready to push the FPS genre in a different direction today.

The game is based around the loss of one of mankind’s most vital resources.  You guessed it, oil.

Starting in Asia, the game will progress through to Russia where players find themselves in street fights.  With an assortment of weapons from smart bombs to pistols, and the option of a 32 multi-player game it’ll be hard not to want to play the game through.

The demo will include two maps.  The first is a fight for a strategic oilfield out-back and beyond in the no-where of Neverland.  Well Turkmenistan actually.  In order to get across massive open spaces you have to commandeer things such as tanks and helicopters to survive.

The other is a close war, in-your face combat in the streets of Moscow in the midst of guerrilla warfare, using only the limited amount of ammo that you have.

So if you've got your cross-hairs out, this is where you might want to be headed...
