‘Spore’ Delayed?

Financial analysts are predicting that Electronic Arts may delay ‘Spore’ again, pushing the highly anticipated game to the second half of the year.

The latest brainchild of ‘Sims’ creator, Will Wright, ‘Spore’ promises to be the ultimate Darwin sim. Starting as a microbe, players must evolve their creature until it is an intelligent, tool-using race. Starting as part of the primordial soup, your creature finally builds cities and civilisations.

EA has previously cited a spring release for the game, but a slight financial underperformance means the publisher could delay the launch of the game.

It looks like we’ll have to save our god complex for another day – ho hum.
