Capcom has spoken out, saying retailers are to blame for the price difference between the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of ‘Devil May Cry 4’.
A spokesperson fro Capcom said to VideoGamer.com, “We don’t set the prices of our games, that’s at the discretion of the retailer. In this specific instance, the process has resulted in a price difference, but the process itself is not something we completely control.”
PS3 owners will be justifiably miffed at having to pay a premium for games on their already pricey console. Play.com and Amazon.co.uk are both selling 'DMC4' for £29.99 on 360, but £39.99 on PS3. However, Gamestation lists the game on both formats at a £39.99, so you can’t say fairer than that.
Just when will the inequality end, we hear you scream. Your pain is our pain.
