Burnout Tops Charts

The post-Christmas slow season is officially over as 'Burnout Paradise' drifts into the top spot, leaving Sega’s 'Mario and Sonic' and 'Olympic Games' in second place.

Going straight in at number one in launch week, EA’s highly anticipated racer sees a pretty even split between 360 and PS3, 53% and 47% of sales respectively.

'Call of Duty 4' slips down to three this week, while 'Wii Play' rockets up the chart to number four.

Clearly 'Burnout' is a universal hit, as we all take time out to find the crumple zone on every vehicle to grace our screens. Ah, life is good.
