‘Kingdom Under Fire’ Sequel

View all new shots

Blueside has announced the co-devlopment of the ‘Kingdom Under Fire’ series sequel, ‘Kingdom Under Fire II’ with Phantagram today.  The game is aiming for a 2009 release and will be available on all console platforms as well as PC.

The sequel promises to deliver a unique story line and game play, which will help to raise the suspense and intensity of combat.  In this sequel a new force is introduced, a third force as well as the Human Alliance and the Dark Legion, that will definitely intrigue followers of the game.

Bluesides’s CEO, Sejung Kim said that they were “preparing for an immense game that will will feature not only field battles, but also titanic siege engines and thousands of units that will swarm over monstrous fortresses in siege battles of epic proportions.”

This will continue the Real Time Strategy theme as well as introducing re-enacting massive scale attacks of mediaeval times.  Obviously, being an MMO, the gamer’s interaction with the environment is key, and so there will be a “deeper and richer” campaign mode than previous sister titles.

And with the core members that created ‘Kingdom Under Fire’, they at least know what they’re doing and can’t go far wrong!
