EA Annonces ‘Burnout Paradise’ Release

Announced today, Electronic Arts’ ‘Burnout Paradise’ is on the shelves for the PS3 and 360 in North America with a release date of 28th January for Europe.

The new game in the series is an all-new open world in which players can explore the Burnout world.  Offline, the players will be able to decide where the action begins by starting races anywhere on the streets.  Online, players brings a whole new dimension  to the social gameplay, allowing you to see friends with the EasyDrive Friends List enabling you to connect to them without having to exit your game.  With a seven player battle option, or the chance to join forces and complete over 300 online challenges, ‘Burnout Paradise’ offers some great gameplay.

Alex Ward, Creative Director at EA says that the game was a “natural evolution of the franchise,” giving players more control of their ‘Burnout’ experience.  He goes on to say that the “city really comes alive when players get together with their friends online, aggressively blasting through the streets at insane speeds to see who is king of the road.”
