The release of Age of Conan has been pushed back to 20th May from its original release date of 25th March. This leaves us with a clear schedule over Easter. The development team will be using the time to “polish” the game, despite great feedback so far.
This is one of the most anticipated MMOs of the year, so more polish can only be a good time. But any more delays and we’ll have to go into a berserker rage. Age of Conan promises a dark, twisted fantasy world, bringing the original vision of the comics to life in all its gritty and bloody glory.
“The companies standing apart in the gaming market today are those with a relentless drive to achieve quality. Even though we regret delaying the launch, I am certain we made the right choice. I hope that our followers and fans will support our decision, and respect our commitment to quality,” said Gaute Godager, Producer and Game Director of Age of Conan.
The good news is, you can play Age of Conan by signing up for the open Beta. See you in Aquilonia.
