UbiSoft announced Far Cry 2 for the PC last year which will no doubt have got a few shooter fans twitching at the thought. Console owners can now also start getting excited as they have officially announced that the shooter sequel will be coming to the PS3 and 360.
The console ports are being developed by Ubisoft’s Montreal development studio who have created a custom-made game engine from scratch. Right now other details on the 360 and PS3 ports are scarce but you can look forward to battling your way through Africa when the game is released 2008-2009.
