The MTV blog revealed earlier today that EA's Rock Band will retail for $169.99 and launch on November 23rd. The pack will incude the game, one guitar, a mic and a drum kit. The blohg also reveals tha the PS2 version will ship out this year and not 2008 as originally expected. Annoyingly enough the 360 guitar will be wired but the PS2 and PS3 guitars will be wireless.
We're looking forward to both Rock Band and Guitar Hero III but at the end of the day Rock Band has the trump card with the drum kit. However, these games are really about the songs and whichever one comes out top on that front will likely be the winner. We've seen some real crap being played on the videos that have been released for Rock Band so we'll have to see if Guitar Hero III can pip it at the post.
