Guild Wars Factions Review

ArenaNet are back with the latest installment for their online RPG but how do all the new features and classes stack up? Matt investigates.
The second game in the Guild Wars series sees the action switch from Tyria to the Oriental themed Canthan continent across the sea. The situation in this new land is dire at best; the warring Kurzik and Luxon factions constantly battle with one another, strange mutated beasts have started to appear all over the expansive city of Kaineng and there is even talk of the return of the infamous warlord Shiro Tagachi who was supposedly killed 200 years ago after he murdered the emperor in cold blood. You later discover that this evil warrior is seemingly back from the dead and hell-bent on revenge. For someone that crystallised the Jade Sea and petrified most of Echovald forest just with his death knell, you can instantly tell he is no mere pushover.
