Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Review

It's been one of the most eagerly awaited titles for some time and it was heavily hyped prior to release a few weeks ago so we were keen to get stuck into this massive RPG from Bethesda. Stephen was in charge of the PC review but we have an Xbox 360 review also incoming in the next couple of days so watch out for that. For now we'll concentrate on the PC port. Here's a snip from our review as a primer:
The first thing you will notice when you pick up Oblivion is that the system requirements are staggering. The recommended settings require a mid-line video card and a fairly speedy processor. As a matter of fact, as with Far Cry, I upgraded my video card just for this game. That said, I was still not able to run it with all the bells and whistles. If you are hoping to play this on a late model PC, you will be disappointed with what you see. On the other hand, if you have the resources to obtain a high-end video card and a speedy processor, you will be in for one heck of a visual treat.
