I don't know why but this just screams of complete cack but I may be proved wrong. Buena Vista Games have announced it will publish a lifestyle sim game for the PC based on the Desperate Housewives TV show which and the game is currently being developed by Liquid Entertainment. In the game players will take on the role of a new housewife who moves into Wisteria Lane and subsequently unlock the scandals and secrets just like each episode of the TV show. To keep things authentic, Brenda Strong will also play the narrative voice of Mary Alice Young as she does in the TV show. There's no mention of other stars joining the cast just yet.

"Buena Vista Games is proud to partner with ABC Entertainment and Touchstone Television to bring the popular 'Desperate Housewives' franchise to fans and gamers," said Graham Hopper, senior vice president and general manager, Buena Vista Games. "This game allows players to move to Wisteria Lane and live all the gossip, drama and intrigue of a true desperate housewife."
