Uban Chaos: Riot Response Announced

Eidos has announced URBAN CHAOS: Riot Response, "a high velocity, first person shooter where the player confronts real terror in an American city" for the PlayStation 2 Xbox and PC. Urban Chaos: Riot Response is scheduled to ship this spring in North America and is being developed by London-based Rocksteady Studios.
URBAN CHAOS: Riot Response gives gamers the opportunity to step into the shoes of a real hero. Play as Nick Mason a member of T-Zero, an elite counter-gang unit, putting his life on the line in response to a terrorist threat. Specially trained in all areas of urban combat and armed with the very latest high-tech weaponry, T-Zero the last line in urban defense, teams-up with Emergency Services groups including firefighters, paramedics and police to combat multiple threats on the city such as bombings and hostage scenarios. Gamers can explore realistic and dynamic city environments where all the intense action takes place.

Sefton Hill, Director of Rocksteady Studios said, “Urban Chaos has been designed to offer something fresh and new for gamers who are looking for a new challenge in the FPS genre. We put the player right in the middle of a full scale riot and it’s no easy ride, this will be an original and intense challenge for gamers."

URBAN CHAOS: Riot Response features dynamic physics and highly interactive environments enveloping players in the intense, thrills-a-minute action. Fight alongside members of the Police Department, Fire Dept, and Emergency Medical Services and save the city’s citizens using unique weaponry and defensive mechanisms such as the riot shield.
