The Movies Online Site Launches

Lionhead and Activision have announced The Movies Online which is their new community website where aspiring movie makers can upload and share their motion pictures created with The Movies. The new site can be found at www.themoviesgame.com and Lionhead plan on launching a virtual film festival for aspiring film-makers when the game ships. Members of the site will also find a host of competitions, award ceremonies, a prop Shop and additional downloads.

When you upload one of your creations your movie will receive its own page where users can rate and comment on your creations. Your movies can also be uploaded to the site and tracked from in-game making it nice and easy to use. Players can also create a studio page which will hold links to all the movies created by your studio. To add some spice to the process, the higher ratings your receive the more credit you will earn to for extra content upgrades.
