Hellgate Founders Offer extended

Hellgate London was Flagship's big release, it's been hyped to the max prior to the game hitting the shop shelves. However, all has not been well with the game. Hellgate has been plagued by bugs and stability issues from day 1 and received mixed criticism from gamers.

With news of character wipes incoming on the Asian servers, Hellgate players have been doing their best to stick with the game to give Flagship time to resolve some of the major issues, and there's quite a lot of them.

Today they announced that the Founders Lifetime subscription deal has been extended until the end of this year which is probably a wise move, Flagship really need to make this game work and get gamers hooked into the game through the subscription models.

The subscription model adds extras such as guild features and extra character slots. Again this has received a mixed reception from Hellgate players. We have to admit, asking people to play a sub for extra character slots is a little rich, you only get three as a standard user!

A note from Flagship reads:

Good news! Based on the number of requests from our community, we’re extending the Founder’s lifetime subscription membership offer through the end of the 2007. We’re also in the process of working on bringing more payment options online, including Pay By Cash and Paypal, and we're working hard to include the ability for players to use debit cards, which we know is the preference of many players in our European community. We've been busy playing Hellgate London here but have been holding off posting our review to give Flagship a little time to resolve the game's problems. Unfortunately time is running out so we'll be giving the game the IncGamers review treatment within the next 7 days.
