Developer Eden games are wanting to draw the player in and keep a sustained game pace with a high level of narrative intensity, something that could work rather well in the survival horror genre. Each episode will comprise of 30-40 minutes of gameplay which will give players a quick fix and keep them hooked on the story, and like TV shows, before each episode begins players will be shown a story recap of the previous episode. Oh, and you can expect cliff hangers which will leave you wanting more. David Nadal, Game Director, Eden Games added:
“Our new format for Alone in the Dark greatly enhances the pace and tension, keeping players permanently hooked into the engrossing story surrounding the mysteries of Central Park and beyond.“You barely have time to breathe before the next cliffhanger hits you…â€It will be really intersting to see how this works and whether gamers will embrace the concept.
